Pro Skill Drills Vol. 1, has 54 Practice Session Drills for all games. These are drills that sharpen your skills while correcting your weaknesses. They designed to fine-tune your focus and playing consistency. The Book is fully illustrated with a spiral-binding so it sits on the rail. The DVD is TV broadcast quality so you can see the ball speed, the pace and the techniques of how each drill is completed. It doesn’t teach you how to play pool. It’s just Pro Skill Drills from cover to cover.

Pro Skill Drills Vol. 2, has 52 Practice Session Drills for all pool disciplines. Like volume 1, these are intermediate to advanced level drills. However, volume 2 includes many complex 8 and 9 ball pattern drills to build your cue ball speed and position play skills. But like volume 1, each page has the schematic designed table so you know exactly how to set up each drill and the TV quality DVD shows all the drills being shot. Q-1. Do I need to start with or get Volume 1 first.

A-1. No. Each volume is self contained. And Volume 2 is 52 different drills in addition to the 54 drills in volume 1. Volume 2 is not the next advanced level. You won’t have to wait till you’re good enough to use volume 2. You’ll want to get volume 1 and 2 at the same time, so you have all 106 practice drills.
Plus remember that many of the drills have two levels; the intermediate level and the pro level.

Q-2. What’s the difference between the Book and DVD? Or (something about getting or needing one without the other)

A-2. They’re like gloves. While they’re different and the same, they work the best when you have both of them. The tables in the book have a schematic design to show you exactly where to place the balls on the table. Plus the text tells you how to shoot the drill, where to hit the cue ball, cue stick elevation and what skill the drill is building. The DVD, on the other hand, allows you to watch how the drill is shot. You get to see the different cue ball speeds, the cue ball’s path and the overall pace of how the drill can be executed.
